We are so glad we attended the SCR Conference. It was all so worth it!

Indeed it has the "WOW" factor.

You took us to a very nostalgic journey from the Spanish regime in the 1500 with your Harana to a very entertaining historical rendition of Jose Rizal's days in 1861 to the KKK & Revolutionary years to a very entertaining modern Fil-Am dances, line dancing & songs to the big celebration of the year 1948 ...the year our PNAA fearless leader was born.

Celebrating Ms May Mayor's birthday to her grand wedding!! was awesome. Thank you for letting me be the flower girl. Remember, ..."what happened in Jacksonville, stays in Jacksonville". (Joke Only!)

Anyway, going back to this most wonderful SCRegional Conference 2008, from the Airport reception and luncheon (courtesy of Julie and Ron), the Welcome Night to the Parade of Banners, Leadership & Educational Sessions with the theme-"Promoting a Culture of Excellence, Dedication, and Commitment in Enhancing the Care to Older Adults" (very fitting topics!), to the Gala & Filipiniana Nights, side trip to St. Augustine and the networking & fellowship sessions, Sunday mass & lunch, personalized airport drop off (thanks to Dolores & Pat) as well as the camaraderie that emanated from all the SCR delegates, host chapter PNAEF and their Auxiliary support group -------all of which exhibited & demonstrated TEAM work at its best, Collaboration, Cooperation and Excellent Performances....great attention to details! Kudos to the team of Julie Locquiao & SCR RLO Gloria Briones.

My heartfelt gratitude to all National officers- May, Leo, Ernie, Gloria, Ate Merlita & all SCR COPs, SCR offcers and all delegates for sharing your expertise and talents. And to all, thank you for your friendships. Priceless! ( Iyakan na naman....Leo, inumpisahan mo kasi!)

I am so proud to be a part of this great organization.

More power to everyone! And hope to see you all in South Padre Island.

Start conditioning for our 5K (3.1 Mile) Walk/Run. Remember to pack your walking/jogging gear with your casual & professional day & evening outfits...and your pledges of course.

Everybody was raving about the successful event.

I knew it will come out as a smashing event because of your dynamic leadership.

Wilma Garay is the name of our member who was on car accident few days prior to the conference. She called me that she is so nervous to drive.

Thanks for understanding my situation. I'll wait for the refund.

Emilio is doing fine. The biopsy report is abnormal and we are going thru consults and second opinions to finalize his treatment. He will have a big abdominal surgery after we find out the treatment plan.

CONGRATULATIONS !!! again & again & again.....

That was a first class way of running the Regional Convention, everyone in our group was really impressed. Some of your members asked me if this convention was OK....

My answer: "what OK? IT IS EXCELLENT....This affair was "GRANDE", MOST OF THE SPEAKERS WERE DYNAMITE. HATS OFF ! to all of you. Thanks to all who work very hard to this conference.

WELLCOME TO PNAA TOO...( quite late, "Better late than never")

SPEECHLESS! I had so much praises to sing I could not hum a tune. I was floating in air when I got home with so many wonderful, memorable stories that when I finally got some sleep, I couldn't be awakened

THANK YOU everyone - firstly, the HOSTS: JULIE, ROMY, the EB, some of the members we have met, and of course, the Auxiliary - AMAZING! The great folks of PNAA (May, Leo, Ernie & Beth) - you simply made me feel welcome in the fold and to strive really hard so I can be one of you "when I grow up".
Tita Glo and Tito Ren - two wonderful, smart, very loving people- I just feel so loved and so safe with you both. Frida, Ana and Tita Mody- you are our "saviors". Bong - a great friend; Butch - you are so mabait.
Orpha, Grace . . . enjoyed every moment dancing, laughing, singing, etc. etc. blah, blah with you all . Did I miss anyone? I don't mean to.

But ... HEY I have to wake up to reality NOW - Aster and my EB- we have to work double, triple HARD to at least come close to this event. WE CAN ONLY TRY. . . because Jacksonville - YOU ARE AWESOME and INCOMPARABLE ! ! !

"thank you" and "what an excellent job" are not enough to describe the great work you did as the host of the recently concluded 8th SCR Regional Conference ...

the educational programs and the social events were well coordinated and was obviously a product of your sleepless nights, hard work and great teamwork... EVERYONE was SO willing to step-up to the plate . thank you especially for the warm welcome and hospitality.....

In behalf of the PNAMH family, please accept our warmest thanks and salute to a well -orchestrated activity. Also, please extend our appreciation to your spouses, families and significant others.

Hello Everyone,

Just to reiterate Grace's accolade to all. Romeo & Juliet - simply beautiful/magnificent. You are enviable - everyone "stepped up to the plate" w/ something memorable to say. Even the "sociable" stand up in my memory. And how about the "memory pill" that Romy forgot. Until now I'm jerking w/ chuckles. What a "feel-good" feeling going home. I just told Glo that I have to re-do my report. The pre-conference report will appear in the national newsletter but the post conference will appear in our local.

Like our President May Mayor (still enjoying the FLORIDA SUN IN ORLANDO), our hearts are full, it is overflowing w/ gratitude, praise, camaraderie (the true Filipino in us), happiness, and love for everyone. The Auxiliaries are just amazing -ready to go, after one event, all hands are there to commute things needed for the next event. And how about the dancy, swingy, number. And even the mural, the calamansi centerpiece what a labor of love and creativity. We can all harana and serenade each other all night long. And the 'money tree' sabit for the bride & the groom -what a thru& thru Filipino tradition & spirit.

And of course, nobody beats our "Diana" soloist still garnering "97" - and that warm, song-laden welcome reception set the tone for the next 3 days.
