President's Message

        PNANEF came to truition after several years of wanting, talking and  planning by several different groups of nurses. Finally a harmonious blend of  nurses stood up and said, "yes we can do this".
       My Idol Mary Kay Ash once said, "  planning coupled with doing is the key to success". Serving as a president-elect for  two years gave me great chance to go through all the stages of how professional  association like this was formed. We have great blend of personalities who have worked their best to facilitate the growth of PNANEF. We performed not for us but for the association.
             I can say by experience, our group of people, officers, committee chairs and  members have worked hard to fulfill our goal and to share what we have to the community. This leadership group could not have been successful without the willingness and support of all the PNANEF members.  For the next two years to come I would like to propose to each and everyone a huge goal: MAKE OUR NURSES SHINE. Let us show our community how PNANEF nurses perform. Majority of us are Baby Boomers. Let us show our young ones the path to excellence in nursing. We can be their "Magnet" who can educate and teach them the holistic view of our profession. As your president, I will be open to all suggestions and activities to obtain our goals and mission. Let's work together.
